JIMMY STEWART MUSEUM ANNOUNCES NEW EXHIBIT !
“THE STATE OF JIMMY”
Presenting “ The State of Jimmy” , an informal temporary exhibit at the Jimmy Stewart Museum, featuring a collection of items highlighting James Maitland Stewart’s relationship with his home state of Pennsylvania in recognition of the 2014 Governor’s Awards for the Arts presented in September at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. James Stewart was the first recipient of this award, instituted and presented by Governor Dick Thornburg in May 1980.
The exhibit includes Commonwealth proclamations, photographs, telegrams, and awards to James Stewart.
The exhibit opens to the public Monday, September 29th
