The James M. Stewart Museum Foundation and The Boy Scouts of America announce a new award for Boy Scouts, The James M. Stewart Good Citizenship Award. John Alline (Associate Director of the Boy Scouts of America) presented the first awards during the campfire at the Indiana County Bicentennial Boy Scout Camporee on Saturday, May 17, 2003. A four-inch full color embroidered patch featuring Brigadier General James Stewart was awarded to members of Troop 11 from Indiana, PA. A bronze medal is also available.
Interested Scouts or Scouters should contact The Jimmy Stewart Museum to purchase a copy of the workbook either online or by phone (724-349-6112). The price of the workbook is $9.99 which includes shipping. Scouts can send a check in that amount to:

Once the required work has been done, the application form from the workbook, the quiz, and the 500-word essay should be sent to the Museum. After being approved by a local Scouting Representative, you will be notified, and your patch and /or medal will then be sent. The price for each patch is $5.99, and for each medal is $10.99. Please add $7.00 for shipping. Again, a check may be sent to The Jimmy Stewart Museum.
