The Jimmy Stewart Museum is located in the heart of Jimmy Stewart’s quaint hometown of Indiana, Pennsylvania across from where his father had his hardware store.  It is well worth the trip to come and see all that the museum has to offer and explore historic downtown Indiana.

Location: 835 Philadelphia Street, Indiana PA 15701

(at the intersection of 9th & Philadelphia Streets in Indiana, Pennsylvania on the Third Floor of the Indiana Borough Community Building/Indiana Free Library.)

Normal hours of operation are:

  • Monday – Saturday: 10 AM – 4 PM
  • Sundays: 12 – 4 PM

NOTE: During inclement weather check Facebook for possible closing. We will also announce the closing on our local radio station, 1160 AM WCCS and 101.1 FM.

The Museum is closed on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Free

We accept Cash, VISA, Master Card, Discover and American Express at the Museum and gift shop.

We encourage our patrons to use the Indiana Borough’s Parking Garage at 650 Water Street (rates are only $1.00 per hour with a maximum of $4 per day) or you may use metered parking spots when available on the 800 or 900 Block of Philadelphia Street.
