New Exhibit! Henry & Jimmy, A Lifelong Friendship
September 2 through November 14
This latest exhibit highlights the lifelong friendship of Henry Fonda & Jimmy Stewart from their days as struggling actors in New York through when Fonda passed away. Wonderful stories and little known facts as well as Fonda’s costume from Drums Along the Mohawk. Also featured is a replica of the portrait Fonda painted for Stewart of his favorite horse, Pie.
At the Holidays
At The Holidays the museum does it right! There is a special It’s A Wonderful Life exhibit with movie posters, photos, memorabilia and behind the scenes movie facts. We also feature life-size movie cutouts for photo ops, It’s A Wonderful Life village and a miniature Granville house from the movie. Interspersed throughout the museum is also a Festival of Trees. Over 10 Christmas trees are on display that are decorated based on Jimmy Stewart’s life and films. Be sure to visit The Shop Around the Corner gift shop that has unique holiday items that make for great gifts! And of course, we show the movie It’s A Wonderful Life in our theater every day at 1 pm throughout the holiday season!
